School Diploma Ceremony
100 Caldwell Hall, The Msgr. Happel Room
The annual commencement ceremony will take place on May 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. on the East Steps of the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Graduates may invite as many friends and family as they like since tickets are not required. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The ceremony begins at 10 a.m., however, the academic procession will start at 9:30 a.m., so please encourage your guests to be seated early. Guests with disabilities should contact Disability Support Services (CUA-DSS@CUA.edu) at least two weeks prior to Commencement to arrange for accommodations.
All CL graduates participating in Commencement must check in at The Msgr. Happel Room, 100 Caldwell Hall, at 8:30 a.m. for a short rehearsal. Following rehearsal, students will join the general assembly at McMahon Hall for procession at 9 a.m.
Signs and volunteers will be available to assist you.
The School Diploma Ceremony will begin at 11:45 a.m.
Reception will follow in the Mary Seat of Wisdom Garden (South exit of Caldwell Hall).
Rain Check: In the event of inclement weather and the cancellation of university commencement ceremony, the school diploma ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. sharp, in the Msgr. Happel Room.
